In 2018, I began Viva La Vida India with a vision close to my heart — to create a clothing label that celebrates freedom, individuality, and fearless self-expression. The name Viva La Vida, taken from Frida Kahlo’s final painting, felt like the perfect tribute to a woman who defied convention and embraced life with all its vibrant complexities. Much like her art, this label is an ode to living boldly, honestly, and beautifully — no matter what the world expects of you.

As a creative and enterprising woman, I’ve always believed fashion should liberate, not confine. It should allow you to breathe, move, and express who you are without apology. That belief lies at the core of every piece we design. At Viva La Vida India, you’ll find relaxed silhouettes, versatile cuts, and a harmonious blend of prints and solids — each inspired by global cultures and rooted in the joy of living light and free.

Founded by the passionate art and textile enthusiast Mamta Sharma, this clothing label not only aims to redefine modern apparel but also pays homage to the legendary Mexican artist, Frida Kahlo.

The label is quite known for its quirky fun prints which only produces small runs of each collection in a bid to act against fast fashion. The Label uses surplus waste textiles and always tries to be as eco-friendly as possible through all processes. We maintain design versatility by keeping our clothing very roomy and functional. We play a lot around solids & prints in order to keep surprising our audience. We specialise in relaxed cuts, free sizes, and anti-fits that embrace and flatter diverse body types.
